The SmartHomeSearch Network is an international association of buyer agents and brokers privately maintained by SkyForInc, owned by Kathleen Chiras, MSW, CIPS.

We have been developing our list of the most qualified one or two buyer agent or broker companies in most major areas of North and Central America since 1995. Staff are constantly reviewing consumer feedback and performance of our member brokerages to ensure you get the best possible recommendations. We work in cooperation with the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents and other consumer advocacy entities.

Giving Back

Many are Exclusive Buyer Agents who work in Exclusive Buyer Offices or companies. Others are committed single or traditional agents who have agreed with us in writing that they will offer quality services to buyers. Individuals such as yourself give us feedback about how well their buyer agent worked for them, and we keep these comments in our database. Those who did not get extremely high consumer ratings are removed from out database.

SkyFor, Inc. Owns and manages the SmartHomeSearch Program. SkyFor's commitment is to donate 10% of the gross proceeds from any revenues generated by its connection to this site to local Land Trust and the Nature Conservancy nonprofit organizations.

I decided to get a real estate license in 1991 because of the need to feel in better control of my family's next real estate purchase. While happy with my current home, I was disturbed by the knowledge that we had ended up paying the highest price my husband and I had said we could afford.

Once in our mountain home, I then saw development rapidly eating up beautiful mountain meadows and destroying scenic vistas and wildlife habitat. The decision to get a broker's license led to involvement in founding the Mountain Area Land Trust, and the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents in the early 90's.
